Happy New Year!

 Happy New Year!

It has been a year since I started this blogging journey. While I started this page for me and to keep track of what I have done through the year, I have almost 400 views of pages on this blog! Now in the scheme of things, that is about 1 view per day but, I really thought this would be just a "for me" journey. Here is what I have noticed through the year about doing this blog....

1. Book reviews have been what others are most interested in from this page. Overwhelmingly, people who have come to my page have looked at my book reviews most. Thank you for those that have read through them!

2, Book reviews are really fun to keep my thoughts organized and really fun to go back to read and see what my impressions were and how accurate I was or not!

3.  Crochet projects really took a back seat this year. One, because I slow down making things during the year, and two I really don't know what to write about them. I have thought about doing step by step but the websites or youtube videos do that for me. I'm thinking of just posting results for each month on one page. Maybe I will make that my New Year's resolution this year is to complete at least one crochet project a month! Then I can write the materials you'll need, the website or video I used and also thoughts on difficulty level. I like this idea, can you tell I am writing as I am thinking?

4. Sims pages don't get a lot of views, but they are fun for me. But I do need to get better at the story telling part of it and make it more interesting

Overall, it has been a great year that I have enjoyed sharing with you. And I want to continue to share this next year!

New before the New Year!

 New book review is up and finished for book one of the Wolves of Ruin series by Sable Sorenson - Dire Bound. Including an overall review of the book and reading session summaries and thoughts.

A new gen has started for my Explorer Legacy Challenge for sims 4. Gen 6 out of 9! I am almost completed with a full legacy challenge!

 It's definitely not summertime anymore!!

With autumn, comes a new school year, which means busy teacher stuff and busy mom stuff too. BUT I do have some new things posted!

A couple new book reviews completed with a star rating and overall opinion. 

A new Sims 4 legacy challenge based on Greek Mythology

No new crochet project yet though! That will probably happen over Thanksgiving break!

New Book Review and Crochet Project

 This time I read the book first THEN published the page. If figured if someone read the page, they want to actually see the rating and not see the page and see that it is unfinished and maybe have to come back later.  I read Empire of Flames and Thorns. I added in my overall opinion, star rating and a more detailed reading summary underneath. Have a look. 

I also added another crochet project and took out the temperature snake project. Since I haven't worked on them in a while, so have not updated recently. The new crochet project is super cute and easy, I have the website I got it from, a helpful video from the original creator and I added in my short-hand directions that helped me keep it all in one convenient, easy to read way. Enjoy!

Also, I went from 10 views in Feb. to 186 total views as of today. That is probably not significant in the grand scheme of website views, but it is AMAZING for me. So, thank you and I hope you have enjoyed my book reviews/summaries!

New developments

 I have started a new book for my book club that I have created a page for. " He Loves Me Not" by C.M Nascosta. I have updated it to my current reading page (page 154 out of 330). 

I updated my other book review pages (You can find the links on the current reads page) to include my over all opinion on the book and star rating so that people who don't want to read through the details of the book, don't have to. 

I am also done with Gen 3 of my Legacy Sims 4 Challenge and have update it as well as started my Gen 4 Page. 

I have gotten a lot of views on my book pages recently. So thank you for those of you who have read them. I really am surprised on how many people have viewed the pages. It surpassed what I thought I would ever get on this page. So, Thank you!

Finished with Powerless and a ton of game play for Gen 3 of Sims!

 Powerless is finished. My overall opinion is on the top of the page for the book for anyone interested. Also Spent most of my time today playing my Gen 3 of the Explorer Legacy Challenge, so LOTs of new development there! Good night!
